Our Chinese immersion programs in Shanghai

Our Chinese courses in Shanghai provide a great opportunity for anyone who wishes to discover one of the most fascinating cities in Asia!

Shanghai is the world’s most populated city and one of China’s most popular international business hubs according to Forbes China.

Shanghai, where East meets West

Shanghai is a melting pot of east and west, past and future. It reveals the gems of China’s past and the ongoing promises of its future.

Shanghai was the first Chinese port to open to the Europeans in the early 1800’s and today carries remnants of colonial European architecture and lifestyle. Nicknamed “The Paris of the East’, this once sleepy fishing port is now an extremely dynamic urban metropolis. And the blending of the old and new is contributing to the city’s unique charm.

A vibrant and fast paced feast for the senses!

Shanghai is a relatively young, ever-changing, and energetic city. It is viewed as the fashionable leader of China and is certainly its financial capital.

A stroll around the new Pudong area reveals the highest buildings of China, the tallest hotel in the world and Shanghai’s landmark Oriental Pearl Tower.

Throughout Shanghai you will discover excellent shopping, art galleries, ancient monuments, a huge selection of mouth-watering restaurants, bars and clubs for every taste, and more generally lots of exciting cultural experiences.

Our program includes customised Chinese lessons with a private tutor, homestay accommodation with a Chinese family and a program of activities that helps the participants discover the immense diversity of the Chinese culture and the Shanghai lifestyle.

Learn Chinese in Shanghai and discover:

  • The ever-present buzz of China’s economic and artistic hub.
  • The unique cultural identity created by an extraordinary blending of traditional and modern China.
  • Delightful glimpses of the former fishing port and its European traders woven into the architecture and lifestyle of the city.
