Festa de’ Noantri – Several dates throughout July
Submerge yourself in this quintessentially Italian experience. Follow an elaborate procession carrying a statue of the Virgin Mary through the streets of Trastevere neighbourhood accompanied by bands, and take part in the feasting afterwards.

Lungo il Tevere – throughout July
On a sizzling Roman night head to the banks of the River Tiber for the Lungo il Tevere. It’s an arts and crafts fair where you can also stop for an aperitivo, dinner or drinks and take in the works by local artists and head to Ponte Sisto for live music.

Festival di Caracalla – throughout July
What better way to soak up the culture of Rome than at an open air opera under the stars at the Terme di Caracalla, the ruins of a Roman bath that began construction in AD 212. July sees productions of Aida and La Traviata and a visit from the world famous ballet dancer Roberto Bolle.
