Discover the treasures of Southern England
Students who enroll in our English courses in Southern England will have the opportunity to discover many beautiful places in this southern region.
The region’s biggest city is Southampton, one of Britain’s most important ports acting as a major international gateway for the transportation of a wide range of goods, materials and passengers.
Southampton is an interesting and lively city with many tourist attractions such as the timber-framed Tudor House and Gardens in the Old Town, with over 800 years of history. Also the Sea City Museum which houses a permanent exhibition of Southampton’s Titanic story.
Further south is the Isle of Wight. The largest and second-most populous island in England. You will love a visit to this island and enjoy its sandy beaches, and nice seafood. And if you like, you may go for some bodyboarding at Compton Bay, rockpooling in Bembridge, swimming at Whitecliff Bay, and why not kitesurfing at Brook Chine!
Students who book one of our courses in Oxfordshire will appreciate the rich history and architectural beauty of Oxford town, with its impressive ancient University and colleges, as well as the countryside and the rolling hills of the Cotswolds.
Visitors must also discover the vibrant, ancient and cultured cities of Winchester, Bournemouth, Salisbury and their beautiful countryside.
