Our German immersion programs in Salzburg

Our German courses in Salzburg are aimed at anyone wanting to learn, improve or perfect their German while enjoying a culturally enriching stay in one of the most beautiful cities in Austria.

Welcome to Salzburg!

The fourth largest city in Austria, Salzburg, “salt castle” in German, is located in the western part of the country at the northern boundary of the Alps. It borders Germany and you can literally walk to the German border.

This beautiful city is divided by the Salzach River and is the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

Salzburg is also a UNESCO World heritage site with its unique baroque architecture and preserved natural beauty.

Take a stroll through the city and take rest at one of the many beautiful squares.

The largest square is Residenzplatz and is definitely worth a visit. Bordered by the Salzburg Cathedral, Panorama Museum, and the Residenz Gallery, this square was also a site for the world-famous film ‘Sound of music’ and features a large fountain in the centre.

Day or night, this vibrant city will give you many opportunities to strike a conversation with friendly locals, practice your German and learn more about the Salzburger culture.
