Italian courses at the Teacher’s House in Rome

Our Italian courses in Rome are aimed at anyone wanting to learn, improve or perfect their Italian while holidaying in one of the most beautiful and ancient cities in the world!

The vast history of la Città Eterna (the Eternal City) can be read in every monument, building and palazzo. With each and every stone bearing witness to the periods of splendour and war that have created this magnificent city.

From the remains of Ancient Rome through the medieval times to the awe-inspiring Renaissance and Baroque periods, Rome wears its multi-layered history like a coat of many colours.

Yet Rome in the twenty first century is far from being just an exquisite museum. The Italian capital is a vibrant, energetic city that is famous for its food, nightlife, shopping, cafes, theatres, markets, and of course, its wealth of art.

Rome harmoniously combines the past with the future, elegance with informality, Italian tradition with global modernity. It is a known hub of 3000 years of influential art and culture, ingrained in every single corner.

Millions of visitors each year are enticed by the many faces of Rome. No matter what your interest: art, history, nightlife, architecture, food, wine, the Vatican, or simply the tradition of the warm Italian people, Rome is for you!

The Eternal City is definitely an exciting location to learn Italian in Italy. We know you will love every minute in this expansive and incredibly rich city.

Say hello to our teachers

Our Teacher

Our Italian teacher in Rome graduated from the University of Siena. She has taught Italian as a foreign language for many years and uses teaching methods that are always fun, dynamic, and effective.

Her teaching approach enables participants to study grammar, vocabulary, oral and written structures allowing them to understand and learn in an easy and pragmatic way.

She lives in a quiet area of Garbatella in a fairly big apartment located in a big courtyard surrounded by a nice garden. She lives near the Appia Antica and the Via Cristoforo Colombo where you can find some nice little parks, cafes and shops.

The old capital’s most famous spots are within easy reach. You can take a bus, a metro or even walk to the historical areas of Rome.
