Total cultural immersion

Our Italian immersion programs in Sicily guarantee that you will be using the Italian language during most of your day with your host family and private tutor.

You will be given the opportunity to practice Italian almost all the time during meals, during your host family’s social life and the cultural activities includede in your program.

Our program in Trapani is designed in a way that will allow you to spend time and interact with local people, share their way of life and traditions, their food, their social activities, events and festivities.

Socio-cultural activities

At the beginning of your stay, your teacher will create a program of cultural activities according to your level in Italian and your personal interests.
Please note: some entrance fees to museums/events/activities for the participating student and the teacher must be paid by the student. The price of the package only includes the time spent by the accompanying teacher or by a member of the host family or a professional guide or instructor.

Examples of activities offered:

  • Food markets, local food & wine tastings, and Sicilian gastronomy.
  • Cultural events, exhibitions and visits to picturesque places in and around Trapani
  • Meeting with a local artisan, an artist, visits to various local museums and discovery of the cultural life and events in Trapani
  • Discovery of the old town, di San Lorenzo cathedral, Sant’Agostino (Chapel of the Knights Templar).
  • Salt fields and the salt artisans, the Museo delle Saline.
