Our Italian immersion programs in Tuscany

Our Italian courses in Tuscany take place in the charming medieval town of Lucca.

Lucca lies in very close proximity to Pisa and is well known as the city of a hundred churches. A historical city located in Tuscany at approximately 30 km to Mediterranean coast , Lucca has no shortage of charming features in every corner of this quaint city.

Visit this beautiful city, and whilst learning Italian, challenge yourself to a guided tour in Italian on one of the most celebrated and known Architects – Leonardo Di Vinci.

When in Lucca a must visit is Lucca Cathedral, built in the 11th Century. Inside the cathedral there are many beautiful pieces of artwork and one of many that stands out is the shrine – Sacred Face of Lucca.

Also be sure to visit the Piazza Dell Anfiteatro as there is a plethora of high quality restaurants and cafes all with alfresco dining – a drink or meal in this beautiful square will be sure to be one that will be remembered.

Nicknamed the “city of 100 churches”, Lucca is one of the most loved cities in all Tuscany. This charming town is home to a kaleidoscope of some of the best things you can see in Tuscany.
