Total cultural immersion

Our Japanese immersion program in Tokyo guarantees that you will be using Japanese during most of your day with your host family and private tutor. You will become a member of your host family and practice Japanese almost all the time during meals, during your host family’s social life and the leisure activities included in the program.

The program is designed in a way that will allow you to spend time and interact with local people, share their way of life and traditions, their food, their social activities, events and festivities.

It includes private tuition at our partner’s school, half-board accommodation with a Japanese family and a cultural program of about 6 hours every Saturday.

We provide:

Socio-cultural activities

Included in your program are a series of cultural activities that will be arranged for you every Saturday with a duration of 6 hours.

These activities are related to the Japanese traditional and Pop culture and can include:

  • An initiation to a tea ceremony
  • A calligraphy lesson
  • A cooking lesson
  • A Japanese Pop culture workshop including manga drawing, cosplay, a visit to a cat cafe, cinema, music, …

Our Japanese teachers have taught Japanese as a foreign language for many years and use teaching methods that are always fun, dynamic, practical and effective.

They are very knowledgeable and passionate about the Japanese culture and civilisation and have a good knowldge about the Tokyoite cultural trends.
