Portuguese courses in Rio de Janeiro

Our Portuguese courses in Rio de Janeiro are the perfect option for those who may not have much time to spend in Brazil.  Our programs will allow them to learn Portuguese quickly and live a rich sociocultural experience.

Welcome to Rio!

It’s no wonder people who have been to Rio de Janeiro can’t stop raving about the experiences that they have had.
There is so much to do and see, eat and drink. Plus friendly locals eager to meet visitors in this city of 6.3 million people.

Rio de Janeiro is the second largest city in Brazil. It’s well-known for its cultural iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer on top of Mount Corcovado. The city has been Brazil’s capital city from 1763 until 1960, when Brasilia was founded.

Rio is world-famous for its 5 day long Carnaval. That’s when La Cidade Maravilhosa (the Marvellous City) turns into one huge street party! It features extraordinary parade floats, flamboyant costumes, samba music and dance.

And if you are around for Carnaval, there are hundreds of other amazing spots to take in when in Rio.

The famous Copacabana and Ipanema beaches will get you in holiday and relaxed mode in no time.
Locals love spending time at the beach and if surfing takes your fancy, rent a board and catch some waves. And try your luck with practicing your Portuguese with local surfers on the beach. Then be sure to try a Feijoada, Brazil’s national dish, a deliciously rich bean and meat stew served with rice.
